Scouts
Our Scout Troop continues to thrive by concentrating on traditional scouting activities which teach some really useful life skills. We also aim to do things that the kids wouldn’t do elsewhere, with camping and outdoor activities always featuring frequently in our programme.

Stuff we’ve done so far this year :- First Aid Course at Shoreham Fire station, night wide games up the Downs, hot air balloons, map & compass navigation, night hike, pioneering, swimming, 5-a-side, climbing, abseiling, bike ride, kayaking, fire lighting, Lifeboat Station visit, Remembrance Day service.

The highlight so far was a fantastic Summer Camp, on a medieval island in the middle of nowhere, somewhere near Uckfield!

We have lost a few scouts to Explorers recently so we do have vacancies. If you know anyone aged between 10 and 14 and they haven’t tried Scouting yet, please get in touch.  They’re missing out!!
